Dreams are Powerful

As the inaugural event of Matthew Kelly's Dynamic Parish initiative, we'll have guest, Tony Ferraro, lead us in a unique exercise intended to engage our imaginations to dream about a bigger future for ourselves, our parish and our Church. Collaborating with God on a bold vision for the future and then doing what we can to make that dream a reality has the ability to animate the human spirit in a way nothing else can! During these days of Advent, start praying now for those you hope will return to Jesus and His Church at Christmas. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the courage to invite family members or friends to attend Mass with you. Many people are simply waiting for such an invitation! When you do invite them, be sensitive to the way you extend the invitation – extend it as one that genuinely cares for them and longs for them to become full members of our community of faith. For example, you could say, "Our family is planning to attend the 4 o'clock Mass on Christmas Eve at Holy Family; would you (and your family) like to join us?" Let the Holy Spirit work through you and see what blessings come from your outreach.
