New Sunday Mass Time

Have you ever wanted an option to attend Mass here at Holy Family on Sunday evenings? We had a monthly 5:00 pm Sunday Mass last year and it was popular enough to consider offering it weekly. So, after consulting with Fr. Bill who is willing to preside at the Sunday 5:00 pm Mass on rotation with me every other week, and with the support of the Parish Pastoral Council, we decided to offer a weekly 5:00pm Sunday Mass here at Holy Family Church beginning Sunday, September 18.

We have arranged for several musicians to provide special “praise and worship” style music, and we’ll offer a homily focused with families in mind. This added weekend Mass is in response to the need expressed by many parishioners for a time that makes Mass more accessible to active families. Please spread the word to folks you know who would appreciate having this convenient option to worship God, be nourished by both Word and Sacrament, and fulfill their Sunday Mass obligation.

Another special Sunday evening Mass will take place next Sunday, September 11 at 4:00 pm when we’ll have our Annual Beach Mass on the bay side of Duxbury Beach. Following the Mass we’ll have a cookout. Enjoy this opportunity to celebrate Holy Eucharist and partake in some food and fellowship afterwards in the midst of the beautiful natural setting we have right at our doorstep. Bring family and friends, along with your beach chairs or blanket… and pray we have good weather! In the event of rain, we’ll have the Mass at 4:00 pm in the church.
