We are  hoping to start a book discussion group at Holy Family Church in Duxbury for anyone interested in attending. If the concept is appealing to enough people, the plan is to read and discuss one spiritual book season ( i.e. 4 times a year).

If you are interested in reading, discussing, and pondering (i.e. to think of deeply and to consider carefully) the book, Tattoos of the Heart by Fr. Greg Boyle S.J. please join us on Thursday evening, November 15th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Holy Family church hall. Fr. Boyle has worked with gang members in Los Angeles for the past thirty years. He was the recipient of Notre Dame's Laetare Medal in 2017 and was named a Champion of Change by the White House in 2014.

Acclaimed spiritual author Fr. Richard Rohr, recommends, "Read, and let your life be changed." The Los Angeles Times described Tattoos of the Heart as, "destined to become a classic of both urban reportage and contemporary spirituality." A discussion will also be held on Saturday morning, November 17th from 9:00-10:30 am for those unable to participate during the week. Light refreshments will be served.

If planning to attend please let us now!
