Women's Club
The Women's Club meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from September to June. All ladies of the Parish are invited to attend. Our annual dues is $20, $15 for seniors. Among the additional activities planned for the year are a bead bracelet craft with the ladies from Bead Friend-Z, the annual Talbot's Fashion Show, our traditional Yankee Swap meeting in December, a spiritual renewal meeting, and the popular Mystery Ride in the spring. We end each year with a final Mass with installation of new officers followed by a catered dinner. Our Club is dedicated to the spiritual and social well-being of Holy Family's Women. As a non-profit organization, most of the money we make during the year is targeted for a specific worthy cause (such as last year's donation to the Jett Fund from the proceeds of the Fashion Show) or given back to the Parish for a specific reason, i.e. Families in Crisis Fund. We hold 2 bake sales a year, whose proceeds specifically are targeted to the Scholarships which we award each June to graduation seniors. And we support the Parish in other ways as well ... we sew the Baptismal Robes and we donate the flowers for Confirmation, spending many hours making those beautiful corsages! We feel our organization has activities which are enjoyable to all, and our membership drive is always open. Contact Carol Hartnett at 781-834-0232 or Kathy Slattery at 781-585-9412 for more information.
